The second-generation Telluride is the first to offer a hybrid. It keeps the same body, three rows and long list of standard features as the gas model.

This is the first model year for the Telluride Hybrid. It arrives with the redesigned Telluride, which Kia brought out for 2027 after skipping the 2026 model year.
Compared with the previous Telluride, which came only with a V6, these are the biggest changes.

A turbo hybrid, new to the Telluride. A 2.5-liter turbo four, two electric motors and a 1.65-kWh battery, with a six-speed automatic.
Size
A longer second-generation body. The wheelbase is 2.7 inches longer at 116.9 inches, and overall length grows 2.3 inches to 199.2.
Technology
Stay Mode and a 115-volt outlet. Both come on every hybrid trim, with dual wireless phone chargers and over-the-air updates.
Safety
Ten airbags and a rear seat check. A front center airbag joins the count, and Rear Occupant Alert uses radar to watch the second and third rows.

Exterior. The redesigned Telluride's shape.
The hybrid uses the second-generation Telluride's body, with LED projector headlights, flush door handles and a hands-free power liftgate on every trim. The EX rides on 18-inch alloy wheels with a power sunroof, and the SX and SX-Prestige move to 20-inch wheels and a dual sunroof.
X-Line versions of the SX and SX-Prestige add 21-inch wheels, raised roof rails, projection fog lamps and gloss-black mirrors and trim, with all-wheel drive standard.

Performance. A turbo hybrid with 329 hp.
A 2.5-liter turbocharged four works with two electric motors and a 1.65-kWh lithium-ion battery for 329 hp and 339 lb-ft, sent through a six-speed automatic. That is up to 38 hp and 77 lb-ft more than the previous Telluride's V6, and it runs on regular fuel.
Front-wheel drive is standard on the EX and SX. All-wheel drive is optional on the EX and standard on the X-Line SX and both SX-Prestige trims. Every trim is rated to tow 4,500 lb, the hitch is optional, and the SX and above get self-leveling rear suspension.

Interior. Seven seats and a cabin with its own power supply.
Every Telluride Hybrid seats seven, with second-row captain's chairs that tilt and slide at one touch for third-row access. Heated and ventilated front seats, SynTex upholstery and tri-zone automatic climate control are standard.
The 12.3-inch touchscreen has navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, alongside two wireless phone chargers and seven USB-C ports. The SX adds a second 12.3-inch screen and 14-speaker Meridian audio; the SX-Prestige adds a 12-inch head-up display and heated and ventilated second-row seats.
